Empower Your Body, Calm Your Mind
Holistic health counseling with an Ayurvedic focus
Meet Sarah Capron
I am an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and have worked in health care for 30 years as an outpatient Physical Therapist. I started my formal training with the Kripalu School of Ayurveda and graduated in May 2026 as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor.
Discovering Ayurveda helped empower me on my own health journey and has given me tools to create routine and live in harmony with my body and the seasons. My experience allows me to blend eastern and western principles of health allowing me to offer a holistic approach to healing.
I live in Essex, Vermont with my husband and two teens. I enjoy cooking seasonal meals, caring for my veggie garden, hiking and reading.
I am committed to listening carefully to your concerns and empowering you on your wellness journey.

Ayurveda is a preventative and holistic medical system that focuses on creating health through a balance in body, mind and spiritual well-being. It is India’s traditional medical system and the oldest practiced health system in the world. Ayurveda has a whole person approach that focuses on root causes to our well-being and helps us align with the earth and our own natural rhythms. Ayurveda (“eye-your-veda”) is a Sanskrit word that translates to the science of life.

Client Reviews
“I highly recommend Sarah Capron for Ayurvedic consultations. She started with a thorough intake and interview process. Sarah is patient, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, which made the intake process easy. She also checked my pulse and tongue, and other physical observations. She assessed the findings and then gave me several recommendations for foods (including recipes) and other supportive products I could use. Her recommendations helped me get through a difficult and stressful winter. I felt stronger, more balanced, and overall healthier. Thank you, Sarah!”

“I had the opportunity to work with Sarah Capron a few times this past spring as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and I’m so grateful for the experience. Sarah is an incredible listener and has a way of truly understanding where you are coming from. I felt heard, supported, and comfortable sharing personal and private information because she created such a safe, non-judgmental space.
The recommendations Sarah shared were practical, manageable, and easy to incorporate into my daily life. Some were simple shifts that made an immediate difference, while others were, for lack of being dramatic, felt truly life-changing and eye-opening. They gave me a new perspective on my health, my habits, and my overall well-being.
Beyond the recommendations themselves, Sarah sparked my curiosity and interest in Ayurveda and the Ayurvedic way of living. She introduced me to a different way of thinking about balance, wellness, and caring for myself, and I’ve found myself wanting to continue learning more.
I truly appreciated Sarah’s thoughtful approach, knowledge, and the compassion she brought to each session. I would highly recommend working with her to anyone looking for a more mindful, balanced, and personalized approach to their health.”
